Oslo ICT Network established as an organisation

Oslo ICT Network was formally established as an organisation on Wednesday 9 December. The aim is to coordinate activities within the ICT sector in the Oslo region in a more efficient way.

The new organisation will act as one, making sure all interested parties are included, and offer a more active support for business development in the region. Oslo Teknopol will take the role as secretariat, and a board is set up for the organisation. These will, together with the participants, encourage innovation and secure the best framework for this, both locally and nationally.

The ICT sector is traditionally a very fragmented landscape. Oslo ICT Network will look after the total project portfolio already existing, including eHealth, mobility, international profiling and talent development.
