In the wake of the financial crisis, Iceland has determined to return to its strongest economic asset – the sea. Iceland Ocean Cluster project mananger Vilhjalmur Jens Arnason was in Oslo in January to discuss possible collaboration with key networks and the Oslo region maritime/marine community.
The 30-plus organizers of events during Oslo Innovation Week 2012 met in Oslo City Hall on Thursday February 16th to kick off planning for the year’s event.
”We want to gather good forces and create a capitol of entrepreneurship and innovation here. I think that if we can pool our strengths, we will be stronger as a whole,” says CEO at Oslo Innovation Center (Forskningsparken) Karl-Christian Agerup.
