Oslo Teknopol has once again been chosen to be the secretariat for Oslo Innovation Week. The week takes place week 42 every year - 15th to 19th October 2012. During the week there is a common opening symposium on Monday, and a large Innovation Evening in the City Hall on Thursday. The rest of the week is composed by all the businesses, associations and institutions, and everyone is responsible for their own event.

Common marketing

Last year lots of companies, universities and associations hosted 25 meetings, debates and parties during Oslo Innovation Week. Together they showed the world and each other the capability of innovation in the Oslo region.

This year’s first meeting is a good place to start and to find out if your business or research facility wants to take part in the week. The first meeting will take place in City Hall, Formannskapsalen, Thursday 16th of February at 2.00-4.00 p.m.

There we will all gather around one table, and project a simple timetable up on the wall. Then everyone talks for a few minutes about their possibilities, thoughts and plans to host an event during the week.

Then there will be communicated deadlines for the rest of the year. In August there will be one more meeting like this, to settle the full programme.
