Home to more than 5,000 live music events each year, Oslo is a vibrant scene with more live music than anywhere else in Scandinavia. by:Larm is an important fixture in this environment. As the largest Nordic music conference, by:Larm gathers music professionals from Norway and abroad when the event once again is held in Oslo February 16th-18th 2012.

by:Larm consists of two parts: a festival and a conference. The conference is an international meeting place with a series of lectures, seminars and debates held during the day. The festival concerts take place at night and are open to the public. Their main focus is to present artists that are on the verge of success, either in their home countries or internationally.
